Martin.Stacey.Sophia.Carlo

The venue...University of the Pacific in Stockton CA.  Being on this campus makes you forget you are in Stockton.  As soon  as you step foot on campus, you feel like you are in the East Coast, perhaps  Massachusetts...Growing up in Stockton, I never got the chance to really appreciate the beauty of this college campus.  Although I have been on campus many times as a child/teenager  for Hula practice, New Edition concert, or simply just running up and down the stairs of the football stadium,  I never allowed myself to appreciate the beauty of the landscaping and the buildings.

My recent family photo shoot was on this campus, Stacy grew up in Stockton, had the opportunity to live on campus as a resident adviser in the dorms while she earned her Doctorate degree, she was very familiar with all the buildings, so she gave me a campus tour.   She now works at Delta College and she told me that she takes her students to campus  for a field trip so that they can appreciate its beauty, because not many Stocktonians are familiar with UOP.

Martin is a high school teacher and teaches one of my favorite high school subjects, he is the yearbook advisor.  We definitely talked a lot about photography, particularly about cameras and lenses.  By the way, if you are in a position to upgrade your DSLR camera and lenses, and would like to donate your old equipment, contact me because Martin's school are looking for donations.

Sophia was darling to photograph, she may not have enjoyed the photo shoot, however,  she posed and smiled perfectly on demand.

Carlo is 13 months old and he was so active, just like any 13 month old.  He was fun to capture on camera; and I easily got a smile from him by simply playing peek-a-boo!

UOP provided an excellent back drop for this beautiful family...I just loved the Bagnasco family and here is why...

Gizmo...

Just love it when Gizmo buries his head  in his bed and scratches the bed,  because when he looks up at me, his hair is partially standing up!  I also love it when he keeps me company in the office while I'm on the computer.

We really got lucky with Gizmo, we adopted him about 4 months ago, he is supposedly 7 years old, and he is very well trained.  We can leave him in the house alone for hours and he will just sleep and chill until we come home.  He really adapted to our family quickly ; and we adapted to having a dog.  We did have to change our routine just a bit, but it was all worth it.

The Jamison's

It was such a great pleasure to photograph the Jamison family!  They are just the sweetest!  Heidi did a great job prepping the boys to 'smile' on command;  they all had great smiles in every picture and they were all so cooperative!  And, they didn't even mind going to two different venues.  Thank you Jamison Family for allowing me to capture the moment!

Yes, I couldn't decide which pictures I wanted to feature because I loved them all...and after all these years, Heidi and Ryan still shows the same love they have for each other from the day they were married!

I said "I do" for the second time to my best friend!  Throughout the years we had supported each other in every decision we had made regarding our family.  He is my rock, my best friend, my lover and believe it or not, my inspiration!  Together we had built a life that we are both proud of living.

We are mostly proud of our children together;  Sinjun, our son who is 11 years old and our daughter Kyla who is 8 years old.  It's amazing to see that our union has brought two lives in this world that has a very promising future.  I can't wait to see what God has in store for them.  At this moment, I am enjoying the adventurous  ride he has already planned for us.

As we celebrated our special day today, we had a chance to reflect of what has transpired in the last 14 years.  We had gone through some trials and tribulations, but we never allowed the devil to take over our lives.  Our faith in the Lord has kept or relationship for each other strong and he has taught us that we can endure anything, because "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me"! Amen!

After we had breakfast today, we went to the mall to do some shopping.  We happen to see a photo booth parked right outside of Starbuck's and Macy's...just like some love sick teenagers we took some pictures...this is something we have never done together before and we actually had fun.  Our $3 was well spent today.

Happy Anniversary in a very corny way...yup, I'm not romantic with my ways and words...but I know you still love me!

2010 Puma Harvest Cup Sonoma State University

The weekend didn't start off good for me...I woke up to a really bad MIGRAINE!  I hate them so much!  But then again who really likes them?  LOL!  Well, my migraine finally went away in the late afternoon after visiting the doctors office to get a shot!

I drove my daughter to Rohnert Park for the weekend for her soccer tournament at Sonoma State University.  The weekend was very HOT!  But not as hot as it was back in Sacramento.

Kyla ended up playing  total of 5 games in 2 days; she played 4 games for her own team and she was asked to guest play for another team.  Luckily Kyla was a guest player for Team Freedom because she scored 3 goals and had 2 assists a team mate, Abby, who was also a guest player.  This team took 3rd in the U9 Girls division.

Kyla's team ended up winning all 4 of their games and was the U10 Girls CHAMPIONS for the second year in a row!  GO BLAST!  Kyla had such a great tournament, she played defender for the most part and I think we only allowed  3 goals against us!  Yes, KYLA ended up with TWO Medals!

We also celebrated Abby's 9th birthday!

Labor Day!

Our last get together for the summer.  These pictures were taken at my sister and brother in laws home in Davis, CA.  The kids were so fun to photograph, they were all so cooperative.  Even our dog Gizmo was striking a pose!  Until next year SUMMER-I will miss the season!

Locke, CA

Locke, California is a very small town located on the Delta, by Sacramento CA.  It was founded in 1915 by several Chinese immigrants who were living in nearby Walnut Grove, CA.  After a fire in the Chinese section broke out, the community decided to establish a town of their own.  When you visit Locke, it is apparent that Chinese immigrants established the town.  The town is showing some old age,  however, it has some great spots for pictures.  I especially loved the "Toilet Garden", now that's clever!

They also have a  memorial park and a landmark that is dedicated to the Chinese community of Locke.  If ever you are in the area, drive through this city and take a tour.

Napa, California

After Sinjun's last Cal Ripken State Championship tournament we went to Gott's Roadside for dinner, one of Napa's best kept secret restaurant.  Actually, Napa has a lot of great restaurants.    The food was so delish that I will drive there just to eat at this restaurant.  Their milkshakes are so good as well.  This place was once featured on the Food Network TV.

Only six days old...I just loved all the wrinkles, imperfect skin tone,  dry skin,  lanugo...pretty much everything associated with a newborn...I even love the baby's breath...truly a miracle!
